Mozaika Crochet Scarf Class
Mozaika Crochet Scarf Class
Learn mosaic crochet and make a beautiful scarf with Urth Yarns!
Mosaic crochet creates striking patterns with interlocking stitches… but you only have to crochet with one yarn at a time! In this two-session class, we’ll be making the brand new Mozaika Scarf by Nina Holubcova while learning inset-style mosaic crochet. After just a few setup rows, Maria will get you started doing the mosaic stitch before you know it! The pattern is easy and repetitive, but we’ll meet for a second session to review the technique, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and take a look at other mosaic crochet techniques and patterns.
Mozaika uses three skeins of Urth Yarns Uneek, a self-striping wool sock yarn made in Turkey. The designer has created and tested six beautiful color combinations… or you can create your own! We have a wide selection of Uneek and other sock yarns for you to choose from.
Skills needed: Students should know chain stitch, single, and double crochet stitch, and be ready to work with smaller yarn.
You will learn: Inset mosaic crochet, pattern reading, single-row stripes in crochet.
