Bistro Beanie Crochet Hat Class
Bistro Beanie Crochet Hat Class
Learn to crochet in the round and make your first crochet hat!
Ready to graduate from scarves and flat pieces and make your first crocheted hat? If you know how to single crochet and chain stitch, you can make the Bistro Beanie! Maria will guide you through reading a crochet pattern, then you’ll learn how to crochet in the round. The pattern uses crochet linen stitch, which looks particularly striking with hand-dyed yarn… so if you’ve been eyeing our lovely Color-of-the-Month skeins from Leading Men Fiber Arts, Babble & Stitch, and MadelineTosh, this is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a special skein!
This is a Beginner/Advanced Beginner crochet class. Students should already know chain stitch, and single crochet stitch. It’s a great class to take after taking Novice Crochet! Students will learn pattern reading, magic ring, crochet in the round, and tips for counting stitches and getting the right fit.
