Week 5 - July 13-17: Crochet Level II / Knitting Level II
Week 5 - July 13-17: Crochet Level II / Knitting Level II
July 13-17 Crochet Level II (Morning) / Knitting Level II (Afternoon)
Morning Session (10am-Noon): Crochet Level II campers (those already crocheting) will advance their skills and learn how to make multi-colored granny squares using color-changing yarn. After four or more squares are completed, they will learn how to seam the squares together and make a small quilt, then edge with a single crochet stitch. Beginning crocheters are also welcome in this session and will learn the basics and make a basket or small placemat.
Afternoon Session (1-3 pm): Knitting Level II campers (those already knitting) will advance their skills by knitting in the round to make a hat, cowl or headband. If they’ve already knit a hat, they will learn how to purl and explore a more complex accessory project of their choice using both knit and purl stitches. This session is also open to beginning knitters, who will learn the basics and knit a bunny, headband or scarf.
$285 per week - Morning or Afternoon
