Week 7 - August 17-21: Knitting All Levels / Crochet All Levels
Knitting All Levels (Morning) / Crochet All Levels (Afternoon)
Morning Session (10am-Noon): All levels of knitters are welcome in this camp! Those already knitting will advance their skills by knitting in the round to make a hat, cowl or headband. If they’ve already knit a hat they will learn how to purl and explore a more complex project (accessory) of their choice using both knit and purl stitches. Beginning knitters will learn the basics and knit a bunny, headband or scarf.
Afternoon Session (1-3pm): This crochet camp is open to all levels! Those already crocheting will advance their skills and learn how to make a simple 3-dimensional animal figure. These charming creatures are often known as Amigurumi, the Japanese name for crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Beginning crocheters will learn the basics and crochet a small placemat or basket.
$285 per week Morning or Afternoon
For a full day of camp, register for both Morning and Afternoon sessions. Full Day campers should bring a lunch.
