Week 1 - June 8-12: Crochet Level I / Punch Needle Art
Crochet Level I (Morning) / Punch Needle Art (Afternoon)
Morning Session (10am-Noon): Crochet Level I campers will learn the basics of crochet and create a small circular rug, trivet or basket. Our young fiber artists will learn the slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet stitch, crochet in the round, pattern sequencing, increasing & finishing.
Afternoon Session (1-3 pm): Punch Needle Art: Fiber Artists will create a small punch needle design of their choice using the locker hooking or needle punch methods. These traditional methods create a colorful design using yarn and a punch needle and/or locker hook to create decorative loops on the surface of stretched fabric.
$285 per week - Morning or Afternoon
For a full day of camp, register for both Morning and Afternoon sessions. Full Day campers should bring a lunch.
