Knit your first mittens— lightning fast!

These extra-chunky mittens are perfect for Chicago winters…and even more perfect for mastering the skills needed to knit mittens! Students will learn knitting in the round on double pointed needles, increases, decreases, and picking up stitches. These mittens are so fast and fun, you will be tempted to start a second pair for a friend!

Class: (2) sessions 6:00 - 8:00
Instructor: Valerie Grabski

Cost: $80.00 per student, class limit is 6 students.

Skills: Students should know how to cast-on, knit, purl, knit in the round and have made a hat or a cowl previously.

Materials: Arrive early to purchase one skein of Malabrigo Rasta or similar super-bulky yarn prior to class.

Accessories: Size US 13 double-pointed needles, 2 large stitch markers, darning needle
