Hand Sew a Sock Monkey (Morning) / Crochet Level III (Afternoon)

Morning Session (10am-Noon): Fiber Artists will use colorful socks, buttons, and fiberfill to create a traditional “red heel” sock monkey to take home and love. During the process of making their sock monkey, they will learn and practice hand sewing techniques… which they can even use to make more sock monkeys at home!

Afternoon Session (1-3pm): Crochet Level III campers (those already crocheting) will advance their skills and learn how to make a simple 3-dimensional animal figure. These charming creatures are often known as Amigurumi, the Japanese name for crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Beginning crocheters will learn the basics and crochet a small placemat or basket.

$285 per week Morning or Afternoon
For a full day of camp, register for both Morning and Afternoon sessions. Full Day campers should bring a lunch.
