Sister-Arts Studio + Isager Yarns Retreat

We’re going back to Denmark! Sister-Arts Studio is thrilled to announce our second international knitting retreat to Isager Yarn’s headquarters at the Tversted School, in Tversted, Denmark, March 22 - 29, 2026.
This retreat has been organized by our friends at Isager to be an enriching week of fiber arts, culture, nature, relaxation, and good food. Our itinerary includes a hands-on visit to Isager’s “House of Wool” mill, a day trip to the northernmost town in Denmark, two days of workshops with knitting designer Olga Buraya-Kefelian, and two days of workshops with knitting designer and author Cecelia Campochiaro. We hope you’ll join us!
Retreat Details:
ARRIVAL DATE: Sunday, March 22, 2026
DEPARTURE DATE: Sunday, March 29, 2026
PRICE: $1695 per/person in a double-occupancy room
$2195 per/person in a single-occupancy room
(Note: all participants, including those in single-occupancy rooms,
will share bathrooms. All prices are in USD.)
A non-refundable deposit of $495 must be paid by December 6, 2025. The remaining balance of $1200 for double-occupancy rooms and $1700 for single-occupancy rooms must be paid by January 31, 2026.
PRICE INCLUDES:
- Bus to and from Aalborg airport to Tversted
- Accommodation in one of two Isager guest houses, linens and towels included
- All meals: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner
- All workshops, including yarn for sample knitting and other materials
- Coffee and tea available at all times
- Bus to and from Skagen for day trip
PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Flights to and from Aalborg airport.
- Additional Skagen day trip expenses (lunch, museum tickets, etc.,)
- Any personal expenses or additional services outside the outlined inclusions, including travel insurance

Last year, we received nearly twice as many interest form submissions as we had spaces in the retreat, and we anticipate lots of interest again this year. While we wish we could bring everyone with us, we’ll do our best to give out spots fairly, with priority given to existing Sister-Arts customers.
