Bags are available for pre-order now through July 18th at an early-bird discount! After the 18th, bags go up to full price. Pre-ordered bags will be available to pick up or ship on July 25th, the first day of the Crawl. If you’re picking up your bags, make sure to choose the "Free Store Pickup” option while checking out!

Our 2026 CYC theme is Celebrating the 100 Year Anniversary of Historic Route 66. Just like Rt. 66, Chicagoland yarn shops are connected by many roads, creating a thriving community. This year’s CYC tote is designed by a local Chicago street artist, Austy, who combines their fun characters with the famous retro Rt 66 style.

An annual tradition, the CYC tote bag is sturdy white 100% cotton with a printed design featuring a sassy sheep hitting the road in a stylish convertible! The names of all 20 participating shops appear on road signs, perfect for displaying the pins that you’ll collect as you visit each yarn shop. This year’s new large tote bag style has a gusseted bottom, and is manufactured and printed in the USA.
