Marlisa Capelet Pattern

Marlisa is Donna's thirteenth capelet design, created for the 2026 Chicago Yarn Crawl and inspired by marling studies with Cecelia Campochiaro during Sister-Arts Studio's second knitting retreat with Isager in Denmark. Marlisa drew inspiration from marling Isager yarns in a mix of textures and  colors to create a smooth, harmonious palette that shift beautifully from light to dark.

Construction: Marlisa is crafted seamlessly in a top-down manner, using Isager Japansk Bomuld cotton tape yarn held throughout with one or two strands of Isager, Silk Mohair alternating in sections. Easy backward loop increases are incorporated in the yoke sections, while "K2tog, YO" rows create a textured horizontal delineation.

Marlisa's boatneck design and generous length fit bust sizes from S to XL, and can be easily customized for a perfect fit!
