Zima Beret Crochet Class
Zima Beret Crochet Class
Learn some new crochet stitches and make a stylish late spring hat!
Everyone’s spring wardrobe could benefit from the addition of a smart little beret, Zima Beret by Nina Holubcova really caught our attention! This brand new crochet pattern uses a few slightly unusual stitches to create a beautiful textured beret with dramatic spiral increases. Zima Beret is designed for Urth Yarns’ 16 Fingering, made of luxuriously soft 16-micron Merino wool and available in over a dozen hand-dyed, semi-solid shades.
This is an Advanced Beginner crochet class with (3) 1.5-hour sessions. Students should already know chain stitch, single crochet stitch, double crochet stitch and be comfortable working with fingering weight yarn. You will begin the hat in class after choosing your yarn and reviewing the pattern together. Students will learn pattern reading, crochet in the round, front- and back-post stitches, and more!
