Expand your knitting skills with the Allure Beanie using Malabrigo Rasta

So you’ve learned to knit and purl flat items … are you ready to expand your skills? Learn to knit in the round and make a cozy hat in this “next step” class!

Allure Beanie is an easy, flexible pattern by Little Larkspur with many options for yarn weights and sizes Baby through Adult. In this special two-session version of the class, you’ll use Malabrigo Rasta, a super-bulky yarn, so you can knit up the whole hat in just two weeks!

You will learn: How to read a pattern, measure gauge, knit in the round, decrease in sequence using stitch markers, transfer to double point needles, weave in ends and attach a pompom.

Skills required: Students should know how to cast-on (long tail), knit, and purl.

Yarn: Purchase one skein of Malabrigo Rasta of your choice in our shop.

Pattern: Purchase Allure Beanie in our shop or on Ravelry.

Tools Required: Needles US 13 × 16” and US 15 × 16” (we recommend interchangeable needles), US 15 double point needles, stitch markers and darning needle. Purchase needed materials in shop. Don’t worry— we’re here to help you pick out exactly what you need!
