Take your granny square skills to the next level with a cute flowery bag!

Spring is in bloom and so is your next crochet project! If you’ve made traditional Granny Squares, the Summer Days Daisy Bag by All About Ami is a great next step to try out a new Granny Square style and make a stylish and sturdy summer bag.

In this two-session class, we’ll spend the first week learning the Daisy Granny Square and making our first one or two squares. Then in week two, we’ll learn to attach our squares and assemble the bag. Along the way you’ll learn additional crochet tips like changing colors, weaving in ends, and reading patterns!

This is an Advanced Beginner crochet class. Students should already know chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. New to making Granny Squares? We recommend taking our Granny Square Workshop before you take this class.

Cost: $90.00 per student, class limit is 6 students.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn. Come early to pick out your colors from our wide selection of cotton including Blue Sky Organic Cotton, Malabrigo Verano, or go for a tweedy linen look with Mirasol Ch’ichi!

Other Materials: US F (3.75mm) crochet hook or hook needed to get gauge, tapestry needle, scissors, and locking stitch markers. All materials available for purchase in the shop.
